"BOO-BOO" passed away at home, in my arms, on Wednesday, September 20, 2000 at 2pm. "Boo-Boo" touched so many lives in his almost 12 years with us. He was one of a kind ... VERY LOVED ... and will be deeply missed by many, many people. We feel very honored that he shared his love and life with us and thank God for the precious time we had together.
I took "Boo-Boo" to Dr. Jan's on the day of his passing and we cried together, hugged each other, and said our good-byes to "Boo-Boo". What really touched my heart was when Dr. Jan cradled Boo-Boo's precious little body in her hands, snuggled tight up against her neck, and said, "I love this little guy". (Dr. Jan was Boo-Boo's primary care physician for 12 years) Our son lovingly made "Boo-Boo" a beautiful, special box for his burial.
The box was made of Pecan wood, with gold trim corners, two gold handles and was lined on the inside in purple velvet.
"Boo-Boo" was gently and lovingly cradled in purple velvet.
On Saturday, September 23, 2000 at 7am, "Boo-Boo" was laid to rest at "Boo-Boo" Acres.
1988 - 2000 "Boo-Boo" was a very special spirit! He loved everyone and always had a kind gentle nature with everyone he met. He had a special aura about him that had a way of just capturing your heart. In keeping with his spirit, we would like to share the following:
