  SOSDOG is an educational support group for people with a Certified Assistance Service Dog (CASD) and/or a Service Dog in Training (SDIT).  Founded in 2005, our group's home base is in Sarasota, Florida.

  Our Founder/Training Director is Linda Carter.

  The mission of SOSDOG is to:

• provide individuals, who want to train their own Assistance Service Dog to help them with their disability, with continuous training through

  • public access training classes

  • public outings

  • educational classes and meetings

  • private lessons

• help educate the general public about Assistance Service Dogs and how the public should react to them through

  • group educational outings

  • demos, presentations, seminars and our website

• provide our membership with a support group to help each other solve challenges that arise concerning our Assistance Service Dogs through

  • group meetings

  • discussion groups

  • networking

  • problem solving public outings

  We hope to provide a fun learning experience for People & their Assistance Service Dogs!
